Place de l'Église, 6900 Marche-en-Famenne · Waha, DURBUY, Belgium
This remarkable church is the oldest Romanesque-style church in Belgium and is a Major Walloon Heritage Site. It is the only Romanesque church whose foundation stone is still visible (dated 1050).
Inside is a large stone memorial commemorating the signing of the Perpetual Edict by King Philip II of Spain, decorated with his coat-of-arms and those of Luxembourg and the town of Marche-en-Famenne.
